The Studio & Tony Tee
Who we are. What we do.
Does this mean we’re dating?
DropHouse was official as of 2003, but the idea and experience that led up to it is extensive and comes fully assembled with a hip attitude. The studio and equipment used are top-notch, and the humans who use it are almost lifelike.
How may we help you?
DropHouse specializes in three areas:
- creating professional drops, intros, and imaging & audio branding for DJs, radio stations, and other ultra-cool uses
- assembling audio commercials from concept. Voice-overs are also offered for narration and script-reading.
- and constructing edits for dance routines, recitals, and performances outside of the shower
Essentially, we take your idea from thought-bubble to reality.
Technically speaking…
Our studio is geared towards the digital realm while embracing its analog roots. Everything is centered around professional-grade hardware and software with a plug-in for every job. If your source material is analog, such as tape or vinyl, we can bring it into the digital environment for processing. Any source is recordable directly into hard drive for editing and burning. Editing sessions are typically unattended by the client, though arrangements can be made when necessary (an extra charge may apply). When this is the case, it might be necessary that you bring coffee or a sandwich to get things started on the right foot. A bottle donated to the bar would be stupendous!
Where’d we come from?
Drophouse.com is the brainchild of Tony Tee Neto. Originally known for his DJ sets at nightclubs in New York City, New Jersey, and other major cities throughout the 90s and 2000s , he’s logged over 15 years in the music biz. This experience includes MC and DJ performance; marketing and promotions for major players; and digital audio editing and music production. His love for Dance & House Music continue to be showcased via his t2 Blender Mixshow– download many episodes at DJTonyTee.com. You can also catch Tony as one of the hosts of Rockstar Podcast. With so much experience behind him, he decided to share his passion for music, audio production, and love of being a small-business owner, with the world! He co-hosts this podcast with good friends and fellow entrepreneurs, Lorenzo Araneo of Screaming Lunatic Multimedia and Mariano DiFabio of Avelient Design. They discuss everything from day-to-day challenges of being an entrepreneur, to Social Media strategies for business, to tax implications, in a very casual, straightforward, and entertaining manner. They will often have relevant guests, including Gary Vaynerchuk, who was interviewed on one of the shows.
From us … to you
We’ve developed a nice reputation for sounding great! So, everything we create ends up going through the same process in the end. We master all our work to make it sound big and polished … and yes, LOUD! Depending on your needs, we usually deliver digital files in Hi-Resolution MP3 format, 320Kbps or higher (WAV, AIFF), 44.1Khz. We can send via email or FTP link, whatever works for you. When the files get encoded, we also take care of your MP3 tags, with production date, titling, and yes, our website will be in there in case you forgot where we live. So if you’re using digital software for playback of your drops, spots, or dance edits, it doesn’t get any easier than “dragging-and-dropping.”
We also offer you the option of uncompressed master files for archiving. It’s a good idea to keep these as backups of your project.
Hard disks crash; use protection.
